Suspect from GA arrested after allegedly leading police on foot chase at Opry Mills

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A fugitive from Georgia has been captured in Nashville, and police didn't have to look too hard to find him.

The suspect, Brandon Brown, was arrested outside Dave and Buster's after police say he refused to pay his $17 tab and tried running from police at Opry Mills Mall.

Police caught up with Brown in the mall parking lot after a brief chase.

While they were arresting Brown, police realized he had a warrant out for his arrest in Georgia.

Brown faces four new charges, including theft, evading police and being a fugitive from justice.

Arrest reports don't say what Brown is wanted for in Georgia.

He is waiting extradition in the Metro jail.
