Jonesboro woman arrested for cocaine with baby in the car

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – One Jonesboro woman was caught driving on a suspended license, then arrested for having drugs.

Around 10:40 a.m. Friday, Investigator Mike Brumfield with the Jonesboro Police Department made a traffic stop for a cracked windshield.

Brumfield immediately recognized the driver to be Patricia Craig, and he knew that she had a suspended license.

Brumfield did a probation search on Craig's car and found .2 grams of cocaine in the bottom of her purse. There was also a bent soda can with burn residue, which officers suspect was used to smoke cocaine, found in the vehicle.

Craig's one-year-old daughter was in the vehicle with her. She was taken into custody of the Division of Children and Family Services.

Craig was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
