For Openers...
> Missouri Basketball hits the road yet again as the Tigers close out a stretch of three games in six days  by traveling to Baton Rouge, La., to face the LSU Tigers for the fourth time in series history ... Mizzou and LSU split a pair of games last season and LSU won at the Pete Maravich Center, 73-70, despite 25 points from Phil Pressey and 19 from Jabari Brown.
> Missouri is coming off one of its best defensive efforts of the year on Saturday ... The Tigers held Alabama to a season low 47 points and just 29.2 percent shooting from the floor to outscore the Crimson Tide 37-17 over the final 20 minutes and get the 21-point win ... The 21-point victory was Missouri's largest since the season opener (89-53 vs. Southeastern Louisiana) and the 47 points allowed were the fewest since the Tigers limited Mississippi State to just 36 in Starkville, Miss., a year ago.
> Missouri is 2-1 in true road games this season, earning a 68-64 win at North Carolina State and a 70-68 win at a much-improved Auburn club before falling 78-75 at Vanderbilt last week ... Missouri has already equaled its road win total from last season and is looking for its first win in Baton Rouge vs. LSU.
> Mizzou is 14-3 on the season and its three losses are by a combined 10 points to Illinois (1), Vanderbilt (3) and Georgia (6) in overtime ... Prior to the 21-point victory against Alabama, Missouri had played nine consecutive games decided by 10 points or less.
> Jabari Brown has been outstanding over his last five games ... The junior is averaging 20.4 points on 53 percent shooting from the floor and 47 percent shooting from three-point range to take over the team scoring lead ... Brown has three 20-point games during that run, including back-to-back 20-point nights against Vanderbilt (22) and Alabama (24).
> Mizzou continues to be led by the tandem of Jabari Brown (18.8) and Jordan Clarkson (18.6)  ... The pair has combined for 40 points in each of the last two games against Vanderbilt and Alabama and have reached double figures in all-17 games played this season ... The last Tiger to open a season with 17 consecutive double-figure scoring games was Kareem Rush (21 consecutive) in 2000-01.
> Earnest Ross continues to move up the SEC's career active leader board for scoring and rebounding ... The Cary, N.C., native began his collegiate career at Auburn and ranks No. 4 among active scorers in the league with 1,084 points and No. 3 among active rebounders with 584 ... So far this season Ross is averaging a career high 13.9 points and used his big frame to to attack the basket and hit 10-of-12 free throws in the win against Alabama.
> Freshman Johnathan Williams, III narrowly missed his third career double-double by scoring nine points and grabbing 14 rebounds on Saturday ... It's Williams' fourth game with 10+ rebounds and third game with 14+ caroms.
> Missouri has just one starter back from last season's 23-11 team (Jabari Brown) and no players are back that saw action on that 30-5 club during the 2011-12 campaign ... In fact, Missouri's top scorer (Clarkson), rebounder (Williams III) and assist man (Clarkson) have all played less than one full season for the Tigers.

State 13.0 points below its average and Long Beach State 8.3 points below its average.

Missouri's last non-conference loss at home came vs. Sam Houston State in the 2005 Preseason NIT, but since then, Missouri has gone nearly eight full seasons without a loss.

> Jordan Clarkson recorded the first 30-point game of the SEC season on Nov. 12 and logged the 26th 30-point game during Missouri's SEC / Big 12 eras ... Clarkson needed just 18 shots to reach 31 points (12-of-18 FGs), and is one of just two Tigers during the two eras to have 30+ points, 5+ assists and zero turnovers ... Clarence Gilbert had a ridiculous 43 points, nine assists and zero turnovers vs. Iowa State in a four overtime win on Jan. 13, 2001.
