Suspected Check Forgers On The Loose

Jonesboro police want to ask this week's prime suspects about some forged checks.  According to police reports, the two are suspected writing over a thousand dollars in stolen checks. So far, police beleive they wrote checks at Wal-Mart, Advance Auto Parts and Shoe Carnival. If you recognize either of these suspects, call CRIMESTOPPERS anonymously at 935-STOP. You will get a tip number that you need to hold on to. Then, in two weeks, call Sgt. Steve McDaniel at JPD to see if your tip cracked the case. If it did, it's worth cash. Give 'em a call. 935-STOP.

  • 16 non-payment of fines
