Search on for duo in Domino's Pizza armed robbery

HOPE, AR (KSLA) -

Hope, Arkansas police are searching for two people who robbed a restaurant at gun point Thursday night.

Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m. at the Domino's Pizza in the 1000 block of South Main Street. Employees told police that two masked males came in the restaurant with guns and demanded one employee stand against a wall. That's when an employee attempted to grab one of their guns. During the struggle, the gun fired. The robber and employee went out the door as the struggle continued.

Police say the robber began yelling for help because he had been hit by the shot fire inside the restaurant. The employee says when the suspect was released, he pointed the gun at the employee and the weapon "clicked" several times before he ran away. Police say the second suspect realized his partner in crime was no longer in the store and ran away as well.

Both suspects ran toward the dead end located in the 200 block of West 10th Street.

Anyone with information about this crime should call Hope, Arkansas police at 870-777-3434.
