ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police arrested an Oro Valley man accused of sexual exploitation of a minor.

TPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received a tip in December that child pornography was downloaded and shared from an Oro Valley home, according to Tucson Police.

Detectives and U.S. Marshals served a search warrant on Jan. 23 at a home in the 8200 block of N. Northern Avenue, where they found evidence to link 31-year-old Jesus Miguel Navarro Tovar as a suspect.

Authorities booked Tovar into the Pima County Jail on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

TPD urges parents to monitor their kids' online connections for safety purposes.
