SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with an officer-involved shooting last weekend in Shreveport.

Ronald Hill, 26, was arrested on January 18 after he allegedly fired several shots from a semi-automatic rifle into a crowd of people in the 5200 block of Monkhouse Drive.  Hill was ultimately shot by a Shreveport Police Officer after refusing to stop firing his weapon as ordered by the officer.

During the investigation, information was gathered connecting a second man to the incident.  Antoine Jackson, 29, of the 3800 block of Morrow Street in Shreveport, was arrested on Friday.  Authorities obtained an arrest warrant and charged him with one count of illegal use of a weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Jackson was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.

His bond is set at $150,000.
