LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Here we go again.

Computer models are coming into better agreement on another winter storm possible for Tuesday into Wednesday.

This go around there looks to be a better chance at seeing snow rather than ice/sleet.

Still, we will have a transition period that will bring a wintry mix of freezing rain/sleet to the area but the predominate precipitation type looks to be snow.

It is likely we will be put under another winter weather advisory or winter storm watch within the next 24 hours.

The image shows how the heaviest precipitation/snow may actually be from Acadiana eastward into metro New Orleans.

This is just one model and we are still out 48 hours so things can and will change.

I will have more information later today and make sure to tune in tonight at 10 for a full hour of KPLC 7 News Nightcast.
