Bossier City hotel robbed, clerk injured

A man reportedly armed with a gun reportedly struck the clerk at the front desk of the Bossier Inn and Suites in the head and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the Bossier Inn and Suites in the 700 block of Diamond Jacks Boulevard around 3:30 a.m.

A man reportedly armed with a gun robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money, spokesman Mark Natale said.

During the incident, the suspect hit the cashier in the head with a weapon.  The worker was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
