One person injured after crashing vehicle into local business

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

One person was injured after a truck crashed into a wall of a local business Sunday night.

According to JPD Officer Colendula Green, a female driver lost control of the truck she was driving and ran into a building.

The building, Bruce Insurance, is located at 1507 Raymond Road.

Our crew on the scene described the vehicle as a late model pickup truck.

Officer Green said the female was transported to Central MS Medical Center as a precaution.
We have no word at this time on the victim's condition.

There was no one inside the building when the truck crashed into it.
