Woman accused of invading home, battery over bucks

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A Baton Rouge woman has been arrested after she allegedly assaulted a victim over money.

It happened Saturday morning at around 9:41 a.m. at a Baton Rouge residence.

According to the probable cause report, Tarrica Roan, 20, of Baton Rouge, allegedly came into a home without permission. The BRPD stated in the report that Roan began punching the resident repeatedly in the face "with closed fists" after the victim refused to pay $10 Roan claimed was owed to her.

No information is available on how severe the victim's injuries were.

Roan was booked on charges for home invasion and simple battery.
