WILLIFORD, AR (KAIT) – A man in Sharp County was arrested after a deputy discovered drugs on him.

According to Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts, a deputy was called to a domestic disturbance Sunday at Ozark Acres. Counts said the deputy made contact with a Malachai Curry, 20, and a woman who were fighting.

After separating the pair, the deputy noticed Curry was acting "very agitated". For his safety the deputy patted down Curry to check for weapons. While doing so, the deputy found a plastic cylinder containing methamphetamine and marijuana inside a cigarette package.

Curry was taken into custody for felony possession of meth and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He is currently in the Sharp County Jail.
