Police looking for 2 men after shots fired in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police are looking for two gunmen who opened fire at a Hendersonville apartment complex Tuesday morning.

The victim told police he was warming up his car when the men approached him around 2:30 a.m. at the Monthaven Apartments on Monthaven Park Place.

He says the men opened fire, and a bullet almost hit him.

The police department issued a warning Tuesday morning about two black males in dark hoodies. One of them is in a red stocking hat and one of them is armed with a gun, and they could be driving a white sedan with a California tag.

Police now believe the two men are out of the area.
