Jonesboro, AR--You may want to call your local city hall before heading out trick-or-treating this year.  All hallows eve lands on a Sunday this year and many communities are moving the celebration up one day.

“In Bono we go trick-or-treating on Saturday night” Bono resident Kimberly Coleman says.  A lot of other communities are following their lead.  Pocahontas,Paragould, Harrisburg, Kennett, and Caruthersville all plan to hold their Halloween festivities on Saturday night this year.  Jonesboro and Blytheville will not push the holiday up a day.

If you have questions concerning when Halloween festivities will be held in your community you can contact your local city hall or police station.  And if you are lucky you can find another community who are close by celebrating Halloween on a separate night.
