ASUMH flag at half-staff in memory of student

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) – Arkansas State University-Mountain Home Chancellor Dr. Robin Myers has requested the ASUMH flag to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Ryan Patrick Fracek.

Fracek, a student at ASUMH, died Friday, Jan. 24, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

"We lower the ASUMH flag in honor and memory of Ryan Fracek," Dr. Myers said in a statement.  "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. at Mountain Home Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Hughes officiating.  Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements by Roller Funeral Home.

The flag will remain at half-staff until funeral services conclude.
