NEA Humane Society hosts donation drive after break-in

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -  A little more than a week after a break-in, the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society held a donation drive Saturday to restock supplies.

The drive was held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at My Safe Place Tornado Shelters on Southwest Drive.

Jana Holmes, the donation drive organizer said they were hoping to fill the trailer with dog and cat food, cat litter, cleaning supplies and leashes.

She said, "Even though something bad happened, Region 8, the Jonesboro community, they make it possible. That's what we do. If there's people in need we come together."
