Crews clear 4 accidents on I-20

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Crews worked Sunday afternoon to clear four accidents that caused traffic delays along interstate 20.

The first accident was located in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 593. Officials say a truck pulling a camper trailer slid off the roadway and into an embankment. A S.U.V. was also involved this accident and was blocking the inside lane. Adrian who was involved in the accident tells us, "well the accident happened in front of me, I was trying to stopthe vehicle just no possible way. Did as much as I could. Best as I can".

The second accident was at mile marker 595. This accident involved two vehicles and a tractor trailer in the westbound lanes. This accident left only the inside lane open while crews worked to clear the scene.

The third accident was on interstate 20 near Estes Parkway and involved a truck pulling a trailer.

The fourth accident was also on the eastbound lanes of interstate 20 near mile marker 590. A truck was traveling eastbound when it hydroplaned and was hit by an S.U.V. Two people including one child were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Officials tell us that all four accidents have been cleared but they are urging drivers to use caution while traveling on wet roadways.
