JONESBORO, Arkansas (KAIT) – Después de ser una maestra voluntaria en una escuela de Región 8, una mujer de Jonesboro dice que ella vio una necesidad de que padres en esta área aprendan ingles. 

Mona Fielder era voluntaria en la escuela Microsociety Magnet en Jonesboro. Fielder dice que ella conoció a un estudiante hispano y le trato de ayudar a mejorar su nivel en literatura.

Ese niño le contó a Fielder que el no podía leerle el libro a sus papas por que ellos no hablaban español. Fielder dijo que es necesario que los hijos puedan comunicarse con sus papas o abuelos en ingles. Ella dice que de esa forma, los papas podrán ayudar a sus hijos sobre salir en el lenguaje.

Ahorita aproximadamente diez personas han tomados las clases que son ofrecidas en el Centro Hispano de Jonesboro. Las clases comenzaron el 22 de Enero y Fielder dice que desde el sábado, sus clases han triunfado.

"Comenzamos nuestras clases y fueron asombrosas," dice Fielder. "Los participantes estaban emocionados y pensaron que podían ir mas rápidos."

Las clases son cada Miércoles a las 10 de la mañana. Fielder dice que hay un costo menor para la clase.
