Feasibility study reveals demand for osteopathic medical school at ASU

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)-  A press conference at Arkansas State University reviewed the option of bringing a new school to campus.
A feasibility study by Tripp Umbach showed an osteopathic medical school at ASU will help meet the demand for more primary care physicians. The study also revealed an initial $70 million impact on Northeast Arkansas.
The 2-year start up period is expected to provide 317 jobs.
