JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Students at the Visual and Performing Arts Magnet School had some special visitors on Thursday.
The Culture Kaleidoscope hit campus first thing that morning. Elaine Bartee with the Visual and Performing Arts Magnet School said students got to hear an Irish harp and even learned to dance a jig.
"So many of our students rarely even leave this area," said Bartee. "So, just the concept when you talk about Ireland, that's just something on the map. To actually get to hear, the accent even has been just so exciting for them to hear."
700 students got to experience Irish culture with the presentation.
