3 arrested after police find drugs during traffic stop

STEELE, MO (KAIT) - Three people are in jail after police found drugs during a traffic stop in Steele, Missouri. 
According to a news release, officers found the drugs during a traffic stop on February 5. 
Chief Billy Stanfield says 54-year-old Crawford Benson, of Shirley, AR, 42-year-old Travis Mantz, of Holcomb, MO and 52-year-old Tricia Crawford, of Shirley, AR were arrested after that search. 
Stanfield says officer found 8 baggies of meth, a baggie of marijuana and digital scales used to weigh drugs. 
The drugs reportedly had a street value of $1,000. 
Crawford and Benson are charged with possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute. Mantz is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
