    Southwest Drive was closed during the morning rush Friday after crews battled a house fire.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -  Arkansas Forestry Commission announces missing pilot Jake Harrell found dead at crash site. A state police helicopter found the aircraft Tuesday afternoon. The plane and pilot had been missing for more than a week.

The commission says the plane was spotted by the Civil Air Patrol at about 4 p.m. Tuesday outside of Glenwood in southwestern Arkansas. The agency says the sighting was confirmed by a state police helicopter.

Pilot Jake Harrell had been missing since Jan. 31, when he was on an air patrol to look for wildfires. Numerous agencies have taken part in air and ground searches. The crash site is in Montgomery County.
