Final round of LeTriomphe Invitational cancelled, Red Wolves finish the tournament in eighth place

The final round of the LeTriomphe Invitational has been cancelled due to unplayable course conditions caused by bad weather.

The Red Wolves finish the tournament in eighth place after recording a two-day total of 627.  A-State finished one stroke behind Sam Houston State and just five strokes out of fifth place.

Megan Garland was Arkansas State's top performer by finishing in a tie for 11th place with a 152.  Maci Arrington recorded A-State's next highest finish in a tie for 21st place by ending the two-day tournament with a total score of 154.

Abi Laker was A-State's most improved player Monday by jumping from 54th place to a tie for 38th after shooting a 159 for the tournament.  Also competing for the Red Wolves, Marie Coufiggnal shot a 163, good enough to tie for 53rd place, and Courtney Manning posted a two-day total of 167 to tie for 68th place.  Clara Tefteller rounded out A-State's competitors in the event by cutting six strokes off her first-round score to finish in a tie for 78th place.

The Red Wolves return to action March 3-4 at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic in Kiawah Island, S.C.
