Baxter Co. man arrested on drug charges

BRIARCLIFF, AR (KAIT) - Baxter County authorities arrested a man after an investigation into illegal drug activity.

According to Mountain Police Chief Carry Manuel, Michael Glavish, 30, was arrested at his home on Tuesday.

Manuel said the arrest came after police served a search warrant at Glavish's home in Briarcliff. His charges include:

 

  • Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), class C felony (3 counts)
  • Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Oxycodone), class C felony
  • Use of a Communication Device to facilitate a felony, class C felony, (2 counts)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, class D felony

 

Glavish was release from the Baxter County Jail after posting a $30,000 bond.

    After several reported wrecks involving students on County Road 431 near the Valley View High School, the school district is desperately wanting a solution to the gravel road.
