TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Tucson High School Boys Soccer team won the Division II State Championship on Saturday when the Badgers beat Copper Canyon 3-0.

It was the first state championship in the sport for the Badgers who won it all in their first season competing in Division II after moving down from Division I.

The Badgers finished the season 24-0-3.

It's also the first state championship for THMS since the baseball team won in 1988.

The Badgers stopped by the Tucson News Now studios Sunday night to sit down with David Kelly and discuss their championship season.
