JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro man who had been on the run since February of 2014 was arrested on a bench warrant Tuesday, according to the Craighead County Sheriff's Office.

Steven Deshaun Clark, 22, of Jonesboro was arrested for attempting to commit capital murder of a man in the 300 block of North State Street Feb. 19, 2014.

According to Jonesboro police, Clark, also known as “Lil Steve”, had been considered armed and dangerous since the alleged stabbing. The 28-year-old-victim was stabbed in the lower stomach and underwent surgery at a hospital after the stabbing. Police said Clark and the victim had gotten into an altercation before the stabbing.
