TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The man accused in a fatal hit-and-run last week faced a judge for the second time Tuesday morning.

Police arrested Derrick Gulch, 25, after Thressa James, 26, was found dead on the side of the road at the intersection of Detroit Avenue and Willamont Road on Friday. He is currently only being charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

Gulch made his first courtroom appearance Monday, but was given more time to get an attorney.

He will be back in court on Friday and is out of jail on bond.
