Mountain Home woman accused of selling drugs to informant

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) – A Baxter County woman is in jail after she was recorded selling drugs to a person working with sheriff's investigators.

According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, Michelle Eileen Tillery, 48, of Mountain Home was arrested Monday afternoon and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center.

Montgomery states Tillery sold drugs to person working with sheriff's investigators three times in July 2013. The drugs sold consisted of 25 methadone hydrochloride pills and 11 Focalin pills.

The transactions, which took place within one thousand feet of a church, were monitored and recorded by investigators.

 Charges for Tillery include:

  • Delivery of Schedule II controlled substance (5 counts) - Felonies
  • Unlawful Use of Communication Device (3 counts) - Felonies
  • Distribution near certain Facilities - Enhanced penalty

Bond was set at $25,000 and she will appear in court Feb. 27.
