Police investigating train wreck involving pedestrian

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police began an investigation into a train wreck involving a pedestrian.

It happened around 8 p.m. on Derrick Street near Hall Avenue.

Police said it appeared a man was sitting or walking on the tracks when he was hit. The victim was located under I-565 near Tent City.

He was taken to Huntsville Hospital where he's listed in critical condition.
