Connor Shaw proposes to his high school sweetheart

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Connor Shaw got engaged to his high school sweetheart, 21-year-old Molly Smith in Washington D.C. over the weekend.

"She said yes! Such a wonderful weekend with my gorgeous Fiancé!" Connor Shaw posted on Instagram Sunday.

The former Gamecocks quarterback just recently finished displaying his skill set at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

Shaw ran a 4.66, officially in the 40-yard dash, which was the third fastest time among quarterbacks.

During his senior season, Shaw was 180-of-284 with 2,447 passing yards, one interception and 24 touchdowns. He also rushed 154 times for 558 yards and six touchdowns.
