Tuesday's ASU Baseball/Missouri State matchup cancelled

JONESBORO, Ark. (AStateRedWolves.com) – Due to the winter weather that moved through the Northeast Arkansas and parts of Missouri, Arkansas State's baseball game scheduled for Tuesday March 4, at Springfield, Mo., against Missouri State has been cancelled.

A-State was scheduled to play a two-game, midweek series against the Bears, but due to poor road conditions and unplayable field conditions the first game of the series has been called off. Wednesday's finale is still in question and both teams will review the weather situation Tuesday afternoon and make a determination at the time about Wednesday's game.

The Red Wolves recently completed their first road trip of the season by taking a game from Alabama-Birmingham to hand the Blazers just their second loss of the season. The Red Wolves have an overall record of 6-6 on the year and have gotten off to a hot start at the plate. The team ranks first in the Sun Belt in runs scored (74) and on-base percentage (.384), while ranking second in team batting average (.286).

Season tickets for A-State's remaining home games are one sale with prices starting at $50 for general admission seating. Reserved chair seating is $75 while field level chair seating is $125. Special 4-pack options are available as well. For more information contact the A-State Ticket Office at 1.800.ASU.Fans or visit tickets.astate.edu.
