LA man dead after weekend crash in AR

CLEBURNE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Police are still investigating a crash over the weekend that left a Louisiana man dead.

According to Arkansas State Police, Jimmy McLin, 46, of Montegut, LA died after a crash in Cleburne County Sunday afternoon on Arkansas Highway 25.

Police state the crash happened between McLin, who was driving north, and Anthony Allender of Concord, AR, who was driving south.

The details of the accident are still under investigation, according to the crash report. Allender and his passenger were taken to the White County Medical Center.

It was sleeting at the time of the accident and the roads were icy.
