JONESBORO, Ark. (AStateRedWolves.com) – Winter weather has once again forced the postponement of Arkansas State's midweek contest with Missouri State for the second straight day, as Wednesday's contest with the Bears has been rescheduled.
The Red Wolves and Bears were slated to play a two-game midweek series in Springfield, Mo., but poor road conditions and unplayable field conditions forced the first-game of the series to be cancelled. After reviewing the situation on Tuesday, both teams made the decision to reschedule the second game of the series for Wednesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Hammons Field on the campus of Missouri State.
Arkansas State returns to the diamond for a three-game home series against Creighton March 7-9 and will serve as the squad's final non-conference weekend slate before turning its attention to Sun Belt Conference play.
