FAYETTEVILLE (ArkansasRazorbacks.com) - The Razorbacks set a new SEC game scoring record at Bud Walton Arena en route to a 110-80 Senior Night rout of Ole Miss on Wednesday. The Razorbacks have now won eight of nine in SEC play after starting 2-6.
The five seniors combined for 38 points and 11 assists behind a career-high 18 points from guard Mardracus Wade. Fifteen of Wade's points came on a career-high 5-of-7 from downtown as part of a season-high 17 Razorback threes, shooting a blazing 57 percent from outside the arc.
Sophomore Anthlon Bell 's hand heated up during the first half a never cooled down, draining a team high seven treys on the way to a career-high 23 points. His 7-of-10 effort from three point land was a big part of the team's dominance from three point range and included a 9-0 #BellInBunches run during the first half. Behind Bell's 23 the Razorback bench added 71 points for a 45 point edge off the pine.
Arkansas' #Fastest40 style of play proved too much for the Rebels, who gave up 16 turnovers leading to 27 Arkansas points. The Razorbacks 27 assists gave head coach Mike Anderson his 81st win when his teams dished out at least 25 dimes.
Ole Miss senior Marshall Henderson was shut down in Fayetteville, going 3-of-11 from downtown for his worst outing in 2013-14.
