    A four-day search for an Arkansas man and his 10-month-old son came to a grim end Tuesday as authorities discovered their bodies in a remote area of the Ouachita Mountains, authorities said Tuesday.

ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The Onslow County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported shooting that happened in broad daylight.

Officials say they received a report of a shooting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

According to authorities, the injuries do not appear life threatening.

Investigators say it appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public.

A press release from the sheriff's office provided no details on where the incident took place or how many victims were involved.
