Arrest made in break-in at Williams-Brice Stadium

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a break-in at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Manwell Bookhart has been charged with several burglary and larceny complaints for the March 9 incident.

University of South Carolina police officers were called to the stadium just after 4 p.m. following a call about a suspicious vehicle at the stadium.

While canvassing the area in search of the vehicle's owner, police went into the player's lounge and found six Sony TVs, a Playstation 3, and an Xbox 360 were missing, according to the incident report. 

Investigators didn't say what link if any that Bookhart had with the stadiumor the football program.

Bookhart was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center and is being held on bonds totaling $300,000.

It wasn't known if Bookhart had a lawyer.
