JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Several Region 8 students now know the basics of creating an app. First District Congressman Rick Crawford has teamed up with Arkansas State University to expand technology knowledge.
Around 40 students from schools all over Northeast Arkansas know how to create an app thanks to a workshop held at the ASU campus Thursday.
8th grader Evelyn Watkins said the workshop is going to help prepare her for the future. "I think it's a great opportunity and it's going to help us later in life because technology is what we're going to do whenever we get older. And it's probably going to be most of the job opportunities that we have in the future," Watkins said.
