JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - ROTC cadets from Arkansas State University had the opportunity to experience some military hardware first hand.
Students working with the 77th Aviation Brigade of the Arkansas Army National Guard practiced loading and unloading two Black hawk helicopters on Friday.
Howard Bobo is a sophomore at ASU and said he was definitely flying high over the experience.
"They told us a lot of stuff about what they do. You know, aviation, there out 5 days a week and before today I had actually been ready to take the exam, which is what you to do branch aviation," said Bobo. "It was really a good insight as to a good career path I can take."
Friday's exercise was just the start of this weekend's training for the cadets.
