5 arrested after search uncovers drugs, thousands of dollars in cash

HORNERSVILLE, MO (KAIT) – Several law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant on Friday in Region 8.

According to Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder, at around 2 p.m. the sheriff's department searched two homes in Hornersville.

They also searched outbuildings, vehicles, and other property on the premises.

During the search they found two pounds of meth, cash that totaled up to several thousand dollars, and other stolen property.

Sheriff Holder says five people were arrested, including:

  • Steve Alan Bowen, 48, of Hornersville. Charged with trafficking drugs in the second degree. No bond set.
  • Jason Ray Bowles, 29, of Hornersville. Charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond set at $75,000 cash-only.
  • Joseph Dwayne Crossno, 47, of Hornersville. Charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Bond set at $100,000 cash-only.
  • Jennifer Yates, 35, of Hornersville. Charged with trafficking drugs in the second degree. Bond set at $100,000 cash-only.
  • Jaclyn Renee Bowen, 21, of Paragould. Charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Bond set at $50,000 cash-only.

All of the suspects are scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on Tuesday, March 18, at 9 a.m.

SEMO Drug Task Force, Hornersville Police Department, Missouri Highway Patrol and an Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agent helped with the search.
