Students roll up sleeves and save lives

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A group of Region 8 high school students want to encourage their community to give the gift of life.

A blood drive kicked off Monday morning at Westside High School. Tylan Lynxwiler was one of the students that rolled up their sleeves to help save lives.

"It's a real good thing to do.  You know, there are a lot of people out there that need this stuff.  You know, sometimes lives depend on it," said Lynxwiler

The blood drive lasted until 5 p.m.
