Myra Lewis missing for 17 days

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

There are no new developments into the disappearance of a Camden toddler. 2 year old Myra Lewis  She vanished on March 1 from her home on Mount Pilgrim Road.

From our perspective the ground search has ended in the area where she disappeared. We didn't see any signs of crews searching near her home, or anywhere in the area Tuesday.

It's a very different scene compared to last week when dive teams searched every inch of a nearby pond, which didn't produce any results.

MSnewsnow made calls to the Madison County Sheriff's Department and the FBI, but they didn't provide any new information.

We also talked to an aunt of the missing 2 year old by phone. She said the family has also not been told about any new developments in the search.

The reward for information into Myra Lewis' disappearance is still set at $20,000.00 dollars. Billboards with her picture and the reward information are still being run in the Jackson metro area.

If you call the FBI of Jackson field office, they now have a special message regarding Myra Lewis's disappearance.

Investigators still encourage people to report tips to them so they can follow up on any leads. That number is 601-948-5000.
