LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The assistant principal of Clements High School was placed on paid leave while a forensic auditor completes an investigation.

Along with being the assistant principal of Clements High, Kevin Davis is also the school's athletic director. Davis was placed on leave in late February.

Limestone School Superintendent Tom Sisk stressed to the Athens News Courier that the investigation has nothing to do with student safety or any kind of misconduct involving students.

According to the superintendent, it's policy to put someone on leave while an investigation takes place. The superintendent wouldn't go into detail about what prompted the investigation.
