16-year-old rescued in Wood County prostitution sting, 7 arrested

PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Wood County Sheriff's Office says a 16-year-old girl was rescued and returned to her family after a prostitution sting Thursday evening.

The sheriff's department worked with Perrysburg Police, the Ohio Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the FBI Crimes Against Children Task Force to conduct an operation at a Perrysburg area hotel Thursday.

Three people were arrested and charged with solicitation-prostitution, three with promoting prostitution and one with theft.

Charged were:

- Edward L. Carney, 75, of Sandusky, Ohio – charged with solicitation-prostitution
- Albert Flores, 38, of Lorain, Ohio - charged with solicitation-prostitution
- Matthew A. Wolfe, 41, of Fremont, Ohio - charged with solicitation-prostitution
- Naomi A. Rolen, 24, of Toledo, Ohio - charged with promoting prostitution
- Richard Pope, 25, of Luna Pier, Michigan - charged with promoting prostitution
- Desmond C. Henry, 29, of Toledo, Ohio - charged with promoting prostitution
- Erika A. Quisno, 29, of Toledo, Ohio – charged with theft
