PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A Greene County judge sentenced a man to 20 years in prison for the attempted murder of two people back in March.
Ceasar Johnson, 22, of Paragould was ordered to the Arkansas Department of Correction after he pleaded guilty to attempted murder, according to Greene County Circuit Court records.
Johnson was given credit for 227 days served in jail and ordered to pay fines, court costs and restitution.
The sentence stems from the shooting of two people in March at an apartment complex in Paragould. Paragould Police Chief Todd Stovall said two people were shot by Johnson, who was arrested after a two hour standoff with police at his father's apartment in Bay.
