Auburn University introduces new 2014 season ticket package

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

The Auburn Athletic Department announced on Monday that anew level of season tickets will be available for the 2014 football season.

The new level, called the "Eagle's Nest", will be priced at$350 for all seven home games, which is a saving of $100 off the regular seasonticket price. The new level is due to a reduced visitor ticket allotment forthe 2014 season. There are a limited number of tickets available in the eastand west upper decks at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The season ticket package will not require a TigersUnlimited donation. The non-renewable seats will not be available for the 2015season, as they will be included in the visiting ream ticket allotments.

"We had a unique opportunity to offer the Eagle's Nestseason tickets for this season only, due to the fact that we now play Alabamaand Georgia at home in the same year," said Senior Associate AD Scott Carr.

Carr said Auburn's agreements with the University of Georgiaand the University of Alabama requires Auburn to hold more tickets for theirvisitor allotments than for any other visiting team.

Athletic Director Jay Jacobs said the program provides anopportunity of more affordable tickets for families, something that fans haverequested. Jacobs said he heard support for a new ticket package while visitingwith fans in the state and region last year.

"We conducted town hall meetings last summer, and our fanstold us they would like to see some different ticket options," Jacobs said. "Welistened, and we are pleased to offer this special package for the 2014season."
