JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A Jonesboro man is being held without bond awaiting a probable cause hearing after police say he sexually assaulted two young children.
Don Fitzgerald Black, 36, appeared in court Friday and had a bond set at $250,000.
Black was arrested Wednesday morning on charges of second degree sexual assault and rape.
At 8 a.m. police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2500-block of Fairfield Drive.
When Office Duane Busby arrived he learned the victims' family was trying to get to the suspect, who was already in custody.
According to his initial report, Busby said he assisted with crowd control then went to the victims' home located on Mary Jane.
Busby spoke with three children and their grandmother.
One of the children said Black inappropriately touched him and his little brother while they were laying on the living room floor, the report stated.
Black is currently being held without bond at the Craighead County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, March 28.
