Coach Spurrier honored at the State House

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

The Head Ball Coach makes a trip to the State House.

Steve Spurrier isn't ready to give up coaching football for a political seat.

On Thursday, Spurrier was showered with applause by democrats and republicans, Gamecock and Clemson fans.

The HBC was honored with a resolution highlighting his achievements with the Gamecocks including becoming the school's most winning coach and of course five straight wins over arch-rival Clemson.
