Jonesboro man killed in Lawrence Co. crash

WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) – A Jonesboro man died Sunday night in a single-car crash in Lawrence County.

The crash happened at 11:32 p.m. Sunday on the off ramp of State Highway 67 onto State Highway 63 in Walnut Ridge, according to the Arkansas State Police crash report.

DeAngelo D. Scales, 28, was southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve on the ramp. His 2011 Ford Focus overturned multiple times, according to the report.

Scales was pronounced dead at the scene.
