Missing Yazoo City girl's body found

YAZOO CITY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The 9-year-old Yazoo City girl, missing since Sunday night, has been found.

A group of young men found the body of 9-year-old Patrauna Hudson just after 7, Monday night.

Her body was discovered in a canal near an apartment complex on seventh street, just a few blocks from where she lived and disappeared from.

Emergency Management Director Joey Ward confirmed she had drowned.

She was last seen playing behind her home on 7th street near the flood waters.
