Deputies in Izard County arrest 3 for theft

IZARD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Three people were arrested in Izard County on theft charges.

On March 31, Russell Dennison, 63, was arrested for forging checks on a business in San Francisco and depositing it to his account at a bank in Melbourne.

He was charged with a felony for theft.

Dennison was released from the Izard County Detention Center with a court date.

On Wednesday, Latina Kurtley, 40, was a suspect in a March robbery at a cell phone store. Kurtley was accused of breaking into the business and stealing to phones.

Kurtley was charged with a felony for commercial burglary and a misdemeanor for theft of property.

She was taken to the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

A vehicle was reported stolen out of a home in Oxford Friday morning. According to investigators, a man who was staying at the home where this took place was found with the truck in Baxter County.

Deputies said Christopher Consentino barricaded the room where he was at and exited through the window.

When they made it inside the room deputies saw Consentino attempted to fool them by piling up the bed as if someone was sleeping, but the window was left open.

He was charged with a felony for theft of property and had a bond set at $10,000.
